2017 FRC - SCRIW
Blue Devil Mechanics hosted and competed at FIRST Steamworks off season competition - SCRIW (South Carolina Robotics Invitational and Workshops) on October 14, 2017 at Dreher High School, Columbia, South Carolina. Congratulations to Team 3737, Roto- Raptors, team 2059, The Hitchhikers, and team 4451, ROBOTZ Garage for winning the competition. 
2017 FRC 
Blue Devil Mechanics competed in FIRST Steamworks at the Palmetto Regional and the Rocket City Regional. For this year's game, we competed with other teams to deliver gears, score fuels in the boiler, and climb.
We placed fine in these competition, and was ranked in the top half. We were not picked by the top alliances in the Palmetto Regional, but were selected by team 6396, Steel Tempest, along with team 2556, RadioActive Roaches in alliance 6 in the Rocket City Regional. We had a lot of fun in the playoff, and are proud of our robot this year, Mauricio.

2016 FRC - SCRIW
Blue Devil Mechanics hosted and competed at FIRST Stronghold's off season competition - SCRIW (South Carolina Robotics Invitational and Workshops) on October 15, 2016 at Dreher High School, Columbia, South Carolina. We won the championship along with team 3490, Viper Drive, team 343, Metal in Motion, and team 1398, Robo-Raiders on alliance 2.
A trip to Bridgestone
Blue Devil Mechanics visited Bridgestone in Aiken County, South Carolina on May 27th, 2016. We took a tour around their factory, and enjoyed learning about radial tires and the manufacturing process. We also had the opportunity to communicate with their engineers in different fields and heard great stories about them becoming engineers. It turned out to be a pleasant and informative learning experience for Blue Devil Mechanics. We look forward to learning more from Bridgestone.
2016 FRC - Rocket City Regional
Blue Devil Mechanics competed at FIRST's Rocket City Regional in Huntsville, Alabama.  We had improved from our first competition and placed 12th out of 51 teams.  Team 456, Siege Robotics, picked us and team 6158, PiRbot2 to be on alliance 5.   Our alliance made it to Semifinals!   We are even more proud of Linda. We had had great time!

2016 FRC - Palmetto Regional
Blue Devil Mechanics competed at a FIRST Robotics Competition in Myrtle Beach, SC, the Palmetto Regional. This featured the FRC game First Stronghold, where teams worked to breach the defenses, weaken the opponent's tower, and capture it.
We placed well this year, coming in 17th place out of 64 teams. Unfortunately, we were not picked by the top alliances, but we were the number one alternative team.
We enjoyed our time, and are proud of our robot, Linda.

2015 FRC - Hub City Regional
Blue Devil Mechanics competed at the FIRST Robotics Competition in Lubbock, TX, the Hub City Regional. The game for the 2015 competition is Recycle Rush, where teams attempt to stack totes and cans in order to score points. This game emphasized the importance of team work, healthy competition, and gracious professionalism. We finished in the top 30% in that competition. We quickly progressed into the 2016 competition season with a motivated team, innovative minds, and positive attitudes.
